"Having been a trader for over twenty years myself, I've read my share of books about the financial markets. Josh's book is one of the few which doesn't sugarcoat the fact that successful trading is both hard work and takes a long time to master. These lessons and guidance are drawn from real-life experiences, not hypotheticals, which simply adds to their weight. Active traders who are serious about their success need to read this book."
"A brutally honest depiction of the reality of trading. Great stuff. If you're new to
the trading game, this book will shorten your learning curve and if you take its
lessons to heart it just might save you money and grief."

Trading Rules that Work
I've just finished reading The Truth About Day Trading Stocks, and I have got to say it is the best book I have read so far on Day Trading (I have a library full of day trading books). Josh Dipietro's humorous approach keeps you captivated throughout, yet he still manages to present the complexities of the trading arena in an easy to understand, straight forward manner. His brutal honesty will certainly help a lot of amateur day traders rethink their day trading strategies. Great job Josh!

This day trading book, although engineered for a beginner, can benefit all those who wish to further themselves as professional traders. Day Trader Josh offers easy-to-read techniques and tactics that you will need when entering the realm of professional day trading. This book offers solid advice ("Rules To Remember") to start you on the road toward self sufficiency and the first step in your growth as day traders.

"The Truth" is most definitely what this book is all about. I have been a struggling online day trader for about four years now. The stock market has been a complete nightmare for me. I have been reading a lot of books lately, and The Truth About Day Trading Stocks has been the one that stands out the most. Josh DiPietro really knows the hard side of day trading stocks. I feel like he is in the trenches with all of us amateurs. His advice is straight-up, he holds no punches. If you are looking for a book that is gunna show you how to make loads of money with some proprietary trading strategy, then this is not the book. Josh purposefully sways from giving the "golden goose" of strategies that will turn you into a millionaire overnight. He teaches just the opposite, he shows the hang-ups to day trading, he shows all the pitfalls and landmines. This book should be a requirement for all beginner day traders. Unfortunately, many beginner day traders think they are advanced. I strongly suggest all degrees of day traders read this book, especially if you have not yet figured out why you can't generate consistent profits.

This book was truly a godsend. Josh listed every mistake I made as a beginner trader and assured me he'd made those mistakes himself. You will get a kick out of his funny remarks throughout the book. He doesn't bog you down with tedious chart analysis and researching fundamentals. Josh’s approach to instruction is practical and admonitory. His primary objective is to offer advice that will help you not lose all your money during the process of becoming a professional day trader. I only wish he placed the chapter titled "The Worst Trading Day" in the beginning of the book, because that chapter speaks volume on how easy it is to lose all your money in one trading day. This is literally the best beginning day trading book I've ever read. If you're starting from the beginning, this must be on your reading list.

The book is very clear; every concept is explained in plain English. Josh Dipietro really wants you to understand each concept, he doesn't use fancy and difficult techniques. The only chapter that needs to be less wordy is Chapter 4 where he explains "impatience". I understand that it takes patience to learn the concepts of day trading stocks. I felt like I was being talked to like I was in grade school. Besides that chapter the rest of the book actually nailed a lot of my personal trading deficits right on the nose. His real world advice may seem like commonsense stuff, but he manages to embed some truly applicable advisories that really work. After reading this book I have been trading in "100- share blocks" through a "pay-per-share" broker very successfully. . Thank you, Josh Dipietro, for writing a book I can both count on and enjoy, and a book I can eagerly recommend to others
